Do you enjoy making memories with older people, talking to a small group and helping entertain and help others have fun.
You will assist organising an activities programme and help with finer details to make the day memorable. If you have not called bingo you will learn. The group will be with older ladies mostly who have walking difficulties and are not able to get out the house or live alone.
You will set a weekly activity programme for once per week. Available for 12:30-3:15 in the afternoon on a Monday and or Thursday. You will be supported by a centre staff member and assist compiling the activity and doing a stint clearing up.
Experience required
Friendly easy going character, good for a laugh, able to plan and be resourceful. Good with talking and entertaining older people. Able to communicate in English well.

Training details
The volunteer will be introduced to the working of the centre and its people and current protocols using during the pandemic. The volunteer will be supported by a staff member.

Minimum age: 19
Availability
Volunteers (aged 19-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
