To help with general maintenance to keep the hospital garden attractive and tidy. The garden is a quiet space enjoyed by many patients, visitors and staff.
Main Tasks:-
To respect patient confidentiality.
Volunteers will assist with a variety of on-going tasks including, weeding, pruning, watering and planting out flower beds.
To comply with the NHS Tayside Policy on Volunteering.
Wear ID Badge at all times.
Experience required
You will need to be keen, enthusiastic, experienced and independent gardener who can help maintain the Hospital garden and patio areas, making them more attractive and inviting for patients and their visitors. You should enjoy being outdoors, meeting new people and be able to do the physical work required. All equipment is provided.

Training details
To attend informal training and support sessions as required.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Availability
Frequency & commitment
2-3 hours per week with a minimum period of 6 months commitment.
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
