As a Men’s Social Morning Host, you will be responsible for: arranging the room to be welcoming; set-up board games ready to be used; have refreshments ready and available for the men arriving; be a friendly and welcoming host; notify PCHP’s Project Assistant of any supply issues; notify PCHP’s Project Assistant of any safeguarding concerns and clear away any board games and mugs following the group.

Travel details

Based in the heart of Granton. 73 Boswall Parkway EH5 2PW. Building is fully accessible, no stairs or steps. Free on street parking, buses 8, 14, and 19 stop outside the door.

Travel expenses

Expenses are normally reimbursed monthly, however individual arrangements can be made. Forms are completed and receipts attached, once authorised funds are transferred into volunteers nominated bank account.

Training details

Listening Training – Let’s Get Listening with Listen Well Scotland.
Elementary First Aid At Work training.
Appropriate induction and training.
Working in a friendly and respectful environment and gain experience of working within the health project.
Regular support and supervision with a member of PCHP staff.
