Events Volunteer - Merry Muck-in for CHSS 2024

Volunteering details

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join us at The Merry Muck-in on Saturday 7th December 2024 at the Scottish Assault Courses site in Galston, Ayrshire. Tasks include registration, marshalling, cheering, and much more.

This action-packed event invites participants to dress in Christmas attire and have a go completing a fun obstacle course, to raise money for Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland. Join us as a volunteer and be part of this fun, festive event!

Experience required

No skills or experience are needed as full role induction will be provided on the day of the event.

This role would suit someone who enjoys engaging with people and is able to volunteer as part of a team.

Travel details

Newmilns Rd, Galston KA4 8PA. Trains available from Glasgow Central to Gilfoot via Kilmarnock. Buses available from Buchanan Bus Station.

Travel expenses

Expenses will be reimbursed in-line with the CHSS Volunteer Expenses Policy. Please contact your volunteer line manager for further information.

Welcome pack, briefing paper, and risk assessment provide upon registration. Induction and safety briefing will be delivered when you arrive for the event.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 18
Volunteers must be able to get to and from the event location safely. Volunteers must commit to attending induction and safety briefing on the day of the event.
