Social Media and Website Assistant

The Salvation Army is looking for volunteers to support with their social media and website. This will allow them to raise their profile and make sure that the community is aware of what they provide.

As a volunteer, you will:
• Create posts for social media platforms
• Ensure Facebook page is kept up to date
• Answer social media messages
• Add information and updates to the website

This role would suit a volunteer who is confident in using social media, and would be happy to make sure that the Salvation Army has an up to date online presence. This will allow the Salvation Army’s social media and website to reflect the great work they do.

Experience required

Volunteers should be confident in using technology and social media.

Travel expenses

Expenses can be discussed on a 1-1 basis.

Training details

Volunteers will be given an induction and will volunteer alongside their named contact, who can support them throughout.
