Members' Day and AGM

About this event

Haemophilia Scotland is a national organisation dedicated to improving the health and life experiences of people across Scotland who are living with a bleeding disorder. 3,643 people in Scotland are diagnosed with bleeding disorders (2,084 female and 1,559 male); thousands more are undiagnosed. Analysis of our current membership of 375 (212 female and 163 male) indicates we are supporting people from across all regions in Scotland. Living with a bleeding disorder can be extremely challenging, both for the person affected and for those around them. They are poorly understood by those outside the bleeding disorder community, causing a sense of feeling isolated and ‘different’. One of the things that unites people with different bleeding disorders, and therefore one of the reasons why Haemophilia Scotland’s work is so important, is a profound desire for a connection with others who can understand what it is like to live with a bleeding disorder 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. That is what we seek to deliver and enable through our support programme.

On Saturday 24th August, we will be hosting our Members' Day and AGM at Cowane's Hospital Trust in Stirling from 10:00am-1:30pm. This is the one event in the year where we invite all of our membership from across Scotland to come together and connect with one another and have our AGM.

It will be an informal event with garden games and lunch provided. Visit our Eventbrite for the schedule of the day.
