The Share and Care Cafe would be run by senior pupils and young adults in the community supported by CLD, Sir E Scott School, DYW's Ross Miller and Kathleen Duce from the Volunteer Centre in Harris. The aim of the project is to teach life skills to the young people and support people in the community who are isolated and lonely. We would be looking to provide any training that becomes evident during the course of the project for example Food Hygiene certification, First Aid, Lucky to be Here/ CPR etc . We would work with Alzheimer's Western Isles on Dementia Awareness with a view to providing a safe place for people in need of respite to meet.
