This is a voluntary group set up in September 2020 as a constituted group that helps with anything floral in the town centre and around Alloa. It is supported by Alloa First but it is constituted and operates on a voluntary basis with its own insurance, bank account, fundraising etc.
There are about 10 volunteers who come on different days and there is a schedule that runs twice a week – normally a Monday and Friday that includes managing the planters, weeding and generally making the town look nice.
We are entered into the Keep Scotland Beautiful competition in 2021 for the first time for a few years.
