Forres Community Orchard helps to address the need for greenspaces, promotes community production and ownership of fruit, and helps people rediscover the pleasures of eating organic fruit grown close to home. Community orchards also create habitats for wildlife, increasing biodiversity. The orchard helps to build food security as well as community resilience.
