The Ochiltree Community Hub (OCH) improves the communities’ Health and Wellbeing, social inclusion and social capital through the communities willingness to help each other. Profit generated is re-invested in the facility and services supplied through building sustainability into all activity. Taking a community development approach to our activity. Listening to our community and valuing their knowledge, skills and experience, focusing on reducing inequalities and rural isolation in our community. The community is respected through their involvement in managing and operating the new facility. The community and the OCH have a common agenda, interests and collaborate by sharing ideas, information and their combined resources to further improve the wellbeing of the community. All OCH trustees are volunteer members of the local community.
