•To provide appropriate, affordable rented housing which meets the needs of older people. •To provide a community alarm service in all sheltered housing accommodation. •Wherever possible, to provide a flexible, warden run, low level housing support service for sheltered housing tenants. •To provide clear information to all sheltered housing tenants including about their tenancy, their housing support and their rights and responsibilities. •To ensure that the sheltered housing wardens are supported, adequately trained and able to perform their duties.
