Home-Start Deeside is a voluntary organisation committed to promoting the positive sides to family life.Many parents can feel overwhelmed or exhausted by the stresses and difficulties of everyday life. All too often they have no close family members or friends who can give them encouragement, support or breathing space when they most need it.This is where Home-Start Deeside can help. We provide volunteers who regularly visit families in their own homes to provide practical help, support and friendship. All our volunteers are parents themselves so they understand the pressures and demands that often come with the job.Our support is free, confidential and non-judgemental.
