By working with local people, authorities and governments, WDC addresses immediate threats and ensures sustainable protection of natural heritage at community, regional and international levels.Present in Scotland for over 20 years WDC engages coastal communities to become the driving force in delivering local conservation. The Scottish Dolphin Centre in Spey Bay attracts visitors from the local community and tourists from further afield and aims to raise the profile of local wildlife including the bottlenose dolphins, as well as the natural and cultural heritage of Moray.The centres café, shop and exhibits provide a fantastic opportunity for visitors to discover more about the fascinating diversity of Morays wildlife. The centre provides volunteering opportunities for people of all ages and delivers a well-established education programme for local schools and groups.
