The Museum is open from April until October. Opening times are Monday - Saturday 11 am. - 4 p.m.; Sunday open 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.The organisation's purposes are: The advancement of education of the public in the history of Dalbeattie The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. To extend, enhance and maintain a collection of social historic materials; preserve and restore other materials for the purpose of public display; and to carry out works for the improvement and development of the museum.
