First Step is a community project for families with young children which is based in the Musselburgh East housing estates.
First Step was set up by local parents in 1989 and is an independent voluntary organisation with a parent led management committee. First Step aims to support families with young children by providing a range of services to encourage parents and children to develop their confidence, self esteem and skills, which in turn will strength parent child relationships and build stronger communities. We cover Musselburgh, Wallyford and Whitecraig.
