The Covesea Lighthouse Community Company (CLCC) was set up during 2012 with the objective of acquiring the Covesea Lighthouse from the National Lighthouse Board (NLB), who were marketing the property. The vision is to preserve a lighthouse tower of national and local importance for the community and use the facility as a platform to preserve local heritage and history, while providing opportunities and activities for local people and regional visitors.
