Charity registered in Scotland SC024065
Wellbeing Scotland has supported survivors of childhood abuse and sexual exploitation for over 30 years. Our services are available to people who have been impacted by any form of abuse as a child, with face-to-face support provided at our offices in Alloa and Glasgow as well as online or by telephone. We have an established specialism in supporting survivors of abuse in care, including help with retrieving historical records for applicants to Scotland’s Redress Scheme.
Our support pathway takes clients through a holistic, healing journey and is based on a 3-stage model of trauma and recovery. The pathway for Adult Services incorporates emotional support, counselling and groupwork, along with advocacy and access to records. Our Children & Families pathway delivers emotional support and counselling to young people, as well as psychoeducation and groupwork for adult family members.
Our aim is to positively impact the wellbeing of individuals who have been affected by childhood abuse.
Our vision is that individuals who have been affected by childhood abuse are seen, heard and empowered within a safe, inclusive and supportive space.
