TCC is a local charity that has been set up to support the local residents to enhance their community. The Community have bought the Crook Inn, a historic pub, first licenced in the 1700s, and are currently renovating the buildings to create a community hub. This will provide recreation, leisure, social space, gardening, meeting rooms, destination for visitors and recreation opportunities. We are also creating an eco museum and website linked to the rich heritage of our community, that will allow everyone to explore the museum, and visit local landmarks and interest sites to enhance their understanding of Tweedsmuir. The Eco museum will be a store of the heritage of Tweedsmuir, from the ancient past to the modern day, and protect these stories, photographs, drawings and videos for the future.
