Polmont Playgroup has been operating for more than 30 years providing a valuable service to the community. The staff believe that learning should be fun and encourage the children in all activities providing opportunities to develop social, emotional and intellectual skills. Activities are based around "A Curriculum for Learning 3 to 5 years" and the new "Curriculum for Excellence". Our range of activities encourage motor skill development, role play, language, counting, music and social skills.
As our playleaders are employed full time we do not have a parent rota to help at our sessions however we do encourage parental involvement through good communication, supporting learning at home and sharing any special skills or occupations with the children.
