The Bronx Boxing Club was established in 2008 to provide recreational sporting activities to enhance the physical and mental wellbeing of the local community. It offers Olympic style boxing coaching from the age of 7 to adult. The sessions are not only for those who wish to compete as amateur boxers but for those who wish to improve their physical fitness, mental wellbeing, self esteem and self confidence. The sessions are run by a team of volunteer coaches with a combined boxing experience of over 100 years. Since opening the doors Team Bronx has aspired to offer a non-judgemental all inclusive safe environment for participants to improve many areas of their lives.The club has produced boxers who have successfully competed in numerous tournaments on home soil and abroad, producing Eastern District Champions, Scottish Champions, Wallace Box Cup Champions, Hull Box Cup Champions, Lonsdale Box Cup Champions, Dublin Esker Cup Champions, King of the Ring and Golden Champions (Sweden) and Commenwealth Games representative.
