Mamacita Foundation is seeking compassionate and dedicated Volunteer Welfare Workers to support the well-being of our volunteers. The role involves providing emotional support, ensuring volunteers have the resources they need, and promoting a positive and supportive volunteering environment.
Responsibilities:
Provide emotional support and a listening ear to volunteers.
Address any concerns or issues raised by volunteers and escalate if necessary.
Ensure volunteers are aware of and have access to necessary resources and training.
Promote a positive and inclusive volunteering environment.
Conduct regular check-ins with volunteers to monitor their well-being.
Assist with the organization of volunteer appreciation events and activities.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
Experience required
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Empathetic and compassionate approach.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
Previous experience in a welfare, support, or counseling role is a plus.
Reliable and committed to supporting the well-being of others.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
