Cruse Scotland Bereavement Support
- VO100895
We urgently need to train more supporters in the local area to meet the increasing demand on this vital service. Will you help us to offer support - and give hope - to families who are struggling with the death of someone close?
Did you know that you don't need to be a counsellor to apply for this training? The course is open to those who have experience of working with children and young people, and/or interest in furthering skills in working with bereaved children and young people.
The overall aim of this course is to provide trainees with a supportive context in which they can develop those theoretical, conceptual, and practical skills and insights, which will enable them to become highly competent supporters of bereaved children and young people and their families/carers.
Experience required
We are looking for people who have experience of working with children and young people, and/or interest in furthering skills in working with bereaved children and young people.
