We are looking for volunteers to join us in our Stirling charity shop, to help us raise fund so we can continue to support our patients and their families. This is an ideal role for someone who likes meeting new people and wants to learn new skills in a friendly and welcoming environment.
You will be helping us with the day to day running of our shop, including sorting, preparing and pricing donated items ready for display on the shop floor, serving our customers on the till and helping us spot unusual or valuable hidden gems among donations. If you have a passion for making a difference and are looking for a new challenge then this could be the role for you.

Experience required

We are looking for volunteers with a cheerful and friendly manner who are able to work well with others. Good organisational skills and the ability to follow instructions will be important. If you have an interest in fashion or a knowledge of popular and good quality brands then this will be useful, but is not essential.

Travel details

Our shop is located in Stirling town centre, next to the Thistles shopping centre. We are also a 5 minute walk from Stirling Railway Station. Parking is available at the shopping centre car park.

Travel expenses

We will pay reasonable out of pocket expenses incurred by our volunteers. Your volunteer manager will be able to discuss this with you and help you claim any expenses you are entitled to.

Training details

All our volunteers will receive full training when they join us, as well as ongoing support from our retail team in store.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 14
Volunteers must be at least 14 years old, and any volunteers under 18 years of age will require the consent of a parent or guardian.

We are looking for volunteers who can do 2-3 hours a week

Volunteers (aged 14-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
