We Need Volunteers!
Friockheim Park Community Volunteers are looking for new volunteers of all types. We particularly welcome anyone with professional skills, qualifications, or experience in areas such as:
Particularly welcomed skills & qualifications
First Aid
COSHH awareness
Health & Safety
Asbestos awareness
Pest control
SIA / security experience
Counter-terrorism awareness
Personal Licence (licensing)
Emergency lighting testing
Food hygiene qualifications
Any other relevant skills, trades, or qualifications
Can you help with:
Cleaning play equipment and public areas
Litter picking
Gardening
Painting
Light construction and maintenance tasks
Photography at the park and events
Educating the public about the environment, including speaking in schools (see Children's Activities role page)
Assisting at our clean-up meeting point and lock-up
Helping with our website and Facebook page
Managing our free period product stand and community engagement
Tree planting
Supporting children's activities (see separate role page)
Helping manage health & safety for our buildings
Providing support at large events and beach cleans

Restrictions

Minimum age: 8

8-10 yr. olds require adult supervision at all times. 10- 16 yr. olds will require there parent/carer to sign a disclaimer before they can participate. 16yrs + must read a disclaimer prior to participating, some volunteers may need to pass a PVG Check.
