Building or Trades Specialist

Our building sub-committee oversees maintenance and building projects at the centre. We need a volunteer to help us make the right decisions to take care of our beautiful listed building so that it thrives long into the future.
Do you have experience of building projects, trades, architecture or quantity surveying and would you like to give your time and knowledge to help a community building? We would love to hear from you!
We particularly welcome people from a diverse range of backgrounds

Experience required

Knowledge of buildings, maintenance, trades, architecture, quantity surveying, or project management.
Ability to speak up and challenge respectfully.
Reliability, trustworthiness and honesty.
Alignment with our ethos.

Travel details

Meetings are currently via zoom by default, with attendance at the centre only for essential purposes. As restrictions lift we will be able to meet in our garden and take forward less urgent maintenance and project work.

Travel expenses

Simple expenses form and reimbursement by bank transfer (or in cash if preferred, when able to meet in person).
