The Rapid Re-accommodation Welcome Centre is a free service offering food, sleeping facilities and a high level of support to people who do not have any accommodation and otherwise would be sleeping rough. Volunteering as a cleaner for just one hour a week can help support this vital service.General responsibilities;
Change bedding;
Clean the bathroom including the floor;
Clean the surfaces in the room;
Vacuum;
Bag up any belongings that have been left behind.

Experience required

Volunteers should;
Have a keen sense of organisation and attention to detail;
Be adaptable and able to take initiative as the role may vary week to week, and can be changeable.
Be comfortable being around potentially challenging situations as the Welcome Centre can be busy and chaotic.

if you have used public transport to travel to and from your role ,or as part of your role, you are eligible to claim this money back- up to the equivalent of a Day Ticket. You must retain a receipt.
