Fundraising Research Volunteer

We are looking for a volunteer to help with our fundraising aims within the local community. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to contribute towards raising vital funds and awareness of Dads Rock in Edinburgh or Glasgow. Activities could include: Carrying out research to identify community grants & charity of the year opportunities with local businesses; researching community/social groups such as Rotary Clubs, Round Tables etc; Sourcing prizes and gifts for fundraising events.

Experience required

Essential: Excellent written & verbal communication; Good computer and digital skills; Good organisational skills & attention to detail; Excellent interpersonal skills and team work
Desirable: Knowledge of local businesses & community (Glasgow or Edinburgh); Fundraising, marketing or sales experience

This volunteer opportunity can be done remotely from the volunteers phone or at our office at The Gorgie Mem, 338 Gorgie Road, Edinburgh, EH11 2RQ https://www.lothianbuses.com/maps-and-times/network-maps/

An expense form needs to be completed monthly and expenses will be paid by BACS
