Collect non-perishable surplus food from a supermarket in Livingston on Saturday afternoons and bring it into centre. Use of cargo bike or car essential due to volume to be transported.
Experience required
Ability to carry boxes/bags of food in and out of buildings. If using own motor vehicle insurance (for this sort of voluntary activity most motor insurance covers this).
Support
Training details
The person supervising will offer immediate support and we also have Volunteer Co-ordinator who will deal with more in-depth questions.
Taster
We offer a trial session to see if this opportunity works for the volunteer.
