Fundraising Events Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in our Fundraising Event Volunteer Role.

Ayrshire Cancer Support has operated since 1982, providing emotional support and practical help to those affected by cancer in Ayrshire. Our Volunteers make a vital contribution, by enabling the continuation of the support we offer.

Kind, Caring, Compassionate? If you have some time to spare, you can make a real difference and we’d really love to hear from you. As part of our Fundraising endeavours and our efforts to promote Ayrshire Cancer Support, we regularly organise events, for which we rely on our Fundraising Event Volunteers to ensure their smooth running.

Our Fundraising Event Volunteers…

 Are flexible, enthusiastic and willing to Volunteer indoors or outdoors.
 Help in the setting up and clearing down of events.
 Meet, greet and cheer on our supporters and participants.
 Assist with the administration of events.
 Provide information to raise awareness of our services.
 Sell raffle tickets and/or collect bucket donations.

Responsibilities may vary between projects, but we’ll always try to match tasks to particular areas of interest or expertise.
In return, we can offer you the opportunity to…
 Gain Event experience.
 Meet new people.
 Develop your skills.
 Increase your confidence.
 Have some fun.
 Contribute to the valuable services provided by Ayrshire Cancer Support.

We ask all new Volunteers to be prepared to undertake training relevant to the role prior to commencing. Associated Travel Expenses will be reimbursed.

If you are interested in this role or would like to discuss the opportunity, please contact us at volunteering@ayrshirecs.org or call us on 01563 538008
