Making and taking calls you will help place food orders for charities throughout Tayside and Fife. You will also give customer service if they have any queries or questions regarding their order. The food is delivered to groups serving those experiencing food poverty. FareShare receives donated food from the supply chain that is surplus and would end up in the waste stream. Environmentally and socially this is a great cause and we welcome those interested in helping in whatever way possible.

Experience required

Good computer skills and communication skills, tackling food poverty

Travel details

Travel expenses

Public transport costs reimbursed.

Training details

Once you have received an induction you will shadow a member of staff/volunteer until you are happy with your role. You will also be able to speak with the volunteer co-ordinator about any issues or queries you have

Taster

Come into the building to find out information on what our project is and speak with staff to see what would be required from them.
