Health All Round

Provide one to one support to a Polish speaking individual who may be isolated or struggling with health problems.
Help them to attend groups and events.
Provide some practical support such as helping with letters or phone calls.
No personal care or crisis support is involved.
Experience required
Essential:
Fluent in Polish.
A good level of English.
A friendly, non-judgemental approach.
Excellent people skills.
Desirable:
Some experience of volunteering or paid work in health/social care/community work.
Travel details
Our office is based at 24 Westfield Avenue, Edinburgh, EH11 2QH..
You will be supporting people in the surrounding areas. There are public transport links.
Travel expenses
A single monthly form can be emailed to claim expenses with receipts.
Support
Training details
There is a general induction training.
After that volunteers have the option to attend other free trainings.
