Reception & Admin - Dudhope Castle

We are looking for volunteers for our reception desk at Dudhope Castle. This will allow you to expand your communication skills and build confidence in a people-facing role. As a volunteer, you will greet visitors and tenants of the building, answer the reception phone and direct incoming calls, and be involved in a friendly community of like-minded organisations.

Shifts are available from Monday to Friday throughout the week, with additional volunteer events optional throughout the year. Experience is optional for this role as The Circle will provide training and supervision from our staff team. You will gain work experience from volunteering with us and be included in a vibrant and diverse community of volunteers and tenants of Dudhope Castle.

Experience required

No experience is required-we can offer support and training at The Circle. Additional training will be offered when possible. We can provide a CV reference after three months of volunteering.

Travel details

The Circle Dudhope Castle, Barrack Road, Dundee, DD3 6HF. Dudhope Castle is a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It is also on the 28 bus route which stops next to the park. Alternatively, there is free parking around the back of the castle.

Travel expenses

We pay travel expenses up to £5 for public transport or fuel. Food and beverages will be available for volunteers while at The Circle.
