The Lay Representative on COSCA's Board represents the public view rather than a professional view. No experience of counselling or psychotherapy is necessary to carry out this role. COSCA is Scotland's professional body for counselling and psychotherapy. www.cosca.org.uk
The role involves reading Board papers in advance of the four Board meetings per annum and also attending the meetings held in Stirling.
A full induction into the role is provided.
