You'll be engaging with a group of older people together with the groups coordinator, helping participants feel welcome, improving their confidence and helping them integrate with the others in the group. Setting up and delivering a range of activities. Example group includes Nordic Walking on Wednesdays 12-2pm or Thursdays 1-3pm.
Experience required
Good listening skills. Good communication skills. Friendly personality, approachable. Reliable. Good time keeping. Patience/empathy. Non-judgemental. Respectful of confidentiality. Able to work within set boundaries.
