Activity School Book Club - Woodburn Primary

Would you like to help us inspire and motivate young people to read more? The Transform Activity Buddy Project is a supported volunteering opportunity for young people aged 15 to 24 who would like to volunteer at an after-school club. As an activity buddy you will be helping the coordinator to set up and run sessions, which includes reading books. You will also be encouraging little people to join in with some lively book chat to help them develop their reading skills We will use a variety of mediums to do this including puppets and crafts to help bring the characters of the books to life! Taking on this volunteer opportunity would be a great way to gain experience for a future career in childcare or teaching.
