Volunteers maintain our poly tunnels, greenhouses, grass areas and planters throughout the site. Our garden volunteers can get involved with light gardening duties (weeding, planting, watering etc) or for the more physically able – digging, shifting, moving and clearing.
Basic knowledge of gardening and being able to work on own initiative is essential.
We have no minimum time that volunteers are expected to volunteer, what time you can give is greatly appreciated.
Travel details
Young Enterprise Scotland, Rouken Glen Park, Glasgow, G46 7UG.
Buses stop outside the park regularly and Whitecraigs train station is a 15 minute walk away.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 16
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
