Community Lunch Kitchen Assistant

Just Bee Productions has a community lunch that is run twice a week, bringing in approximately 100 people all from varied backgrounds within the community. At the heart of this lunch is our kitchen and we need hard working volunteers to support our lead staff to prepare and serve food, maintain cleanliness and wash dishes as we proceed through the busy lunch period.

We would be looking for individuals that have REHIS Food and Hygiene training to come aboard our brilliant team or have the desire to develop and achieve their certification.

Experience required

People skills, team working, good time management, and being proactive.

THESE ARE NOT ESSENTIAL -

Experience in hospitality
REHIS FOOD & HYGEINE certificate (but is open to complete this with further training)

Support
Training details

There would be an induction where you will meet key staff and the routine tasks that take place during the community lunches. Other training can include REHIS Food and Hygiene if not already achieved.

Taster

There will be a chance to come to the premises and have a discussion with the workers of Just Bee about your role in person (this is not a taster session)
