NSPCC (Midlothian)

Volunteers who can offer their support for a variety of local events and initiatives. To help build a group of passionate people we can call on if we need an extra pair of hands. The role will involve Helping out when you can at local fundraising and awareness raising events in support of the NSPCC. You will be representing the charity in a professional manner. Some examples include:
• Childhood Day collections
• Acquiring prizes for events
• Helping in-person events run smoothly
A key role will be to share news about our work in the local community and helping promote upcoming fundraising events and initiatives
Experience required
To have good organisational, communication and networking skills together with lots of enthusiasm. The role can be extremely flexible and can range from displaying posters in local communities; helping to recruit other volunteers to organising a local charity event.

Availability
Frequency & commitment
4 hours a month
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
