Funding for researchers begins at your local charity shop. Now, more than ever, we are in urgent need of public support to enable us to continue our life saving research and help the 7.4 million people in the UK living with heart and circulatory diseases. This wouldn’t be possible without our fantastic volunteers.
Sales Assistant tasks Include: Interacting with customers and serving them in a helpful & friendly way, operating the till and taking payments, receiving donations, and promoting campaigns.

Experience required

We are looking for someone who is: friendly and approachable, keen to learn, happy to be part of a team.
Full training will be provided for all aspects of the role.

Travel details

The British Heart Foundation Portobello Shop is located at 202-204 Portobello High Street and is close to several bus routes.

Travel expenses

Volunteers can claim back costs for public transport to and from the shop. Volunteers will need to use the cheapest method available and keep their tickets to give to the manager.

Training details

Volunteers will receive an induction session, Health & Safety training, and role-specific training on shop processes.
