Gardener

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-award winning organisation delivering a wide range of outdoor activities, based in a beautiful walled garden serving the interest of children and young people in the local community.
Methilhill Community Children's Initiative (MCCI) are looking for keen, enthusiastic and creative individuals who enjoy being outdoors to help with maintaining the garden's character. Full training will be given and the opportunity to learn new skills and interests in many different activities including:- planting, pruning, harvesting, weeding, tidying, maintaining paths and upcycling materials.
If you have 2-3 hours a week to spare and would like to have fun while learning new skills, MCCI would like to hear from you!
Travel expenses are reimbursed.

Experience required

Some gardening knowledge and experience would be preferable, though not essential. A positive attitude and willingness to learn would be great!

Travel details

Takes place at Sea Road, Methilhill Community Children's Initiative Learning Garden, KY8 2GW.
There are bus stops within walking distance and parking is available.

Travel expenses paid fortnightly.

Support
Training details

Volunteers will be paired with a member of staff who will be their main contact. Ongoing support will also be provided by project manager. They offer Azilo online training and in-person training.
