Female Carers Peer Group Volunteer Facilitator

The volunteer would initially help facilitate our female carers peer support group by supporting a member of staff with the role. The role includes arranging and booking premises for the monthly group, welcoming carers to the group, interacting and listening and arranging speakers that are requested by carers to attend the group on occasion. When the volunteer is confident, staff member would hand over the role to the volunteer.

Experience required

A knowledge of what carers may do on a day to day basis and what supports could be put in place to help

Travel expenses, monies for tea, milk etc on submission of receipts
