Trustee/Executive Committee Member

During the course of your term you will be able contribute to the development and delivery of a new strategy, support the organisation in a phase of growth and learn new skills as a governor. Ultimately, Trustees act as stewards, maintaining oversight over the legal and financial health of the organisation to ensure its continued work.

To do this you will attend the eight Executive Committee meetings a year to contribute to the strategy, oversight and promotion of the organisation, but we also ask our Trustees to give their time in supporting fundraising. attending functions and acting as ambassadors.

Training details

The volunteer will be given and supported though an induction pack and will also have access to the support of the Secretary and current Trustees.

A 2 hour meeting every six weeks, plus an AGM and any agreed to fundraising activity.

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
