Volunteer Driver

Our van drivers assist on waste wood collections from trade and domestic customers, as well as dropping off customer orders of timber and upcycled furniture. Volunteers must be physically capable, as some heavy lifting of timber on and off the collection vans will also be required. Based at our workshop in Granton, you will be an integral part of our friendly and supportive team of staff, volunteers and trainees.

Experience required

Van drivers must be at least 25 years old and hold a full, clean UK driving license. We use a 3.5 tonne caged pick-up truck, so experience driving a van sized vehicle is preferred.

This can be a physically demanding role, with considerable manual labour involved, so this should be taken into consideration.

All drivers must join the PVG scheme (Move On Wood Recycling will cover the fee for this).
