In June 2019 Heart Research UK launched the Heart of Scotland Appeal, 48 people a day in Scotland die of heart disease. The heart of Scotland Appeal is to raise money to be spent in Scotland funding cutting edge research projects. The Heart of Scotland Appeal is calling you to help us spread the word in your communities. We are looking for people who will help us flyer at hospitals, GP's, community groups etc. We are also looking for research volunteer to help us reach out to online communities.

This volunteering opportunity is flexible to your geographical location, availability and capabilities. It can be done from a computer at home or in a library or around you local neighbourhood.

Training details
Induction will be an informal chat about the organisation and the Appeal. We will look at the outcome you are hoping to get from volunteering and create a work plan that suits both the organisation and the needs of the volunteer. Training will be given as and when it is required.
Restrictions
Minimum age: 18
Availability
Volunteers (aged 18-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
