Many of the people coming to the CAB are upset, confused or distressed. Therefore we need an individual that can build a rapport, in a caring and sympathetic manner. Becoming a generalist advisor requires enthusiasm and commitment. It is also a great opportunity to make new friends and gain work experience, at the same time increasing your confidence.
Experience required
Full training will be provided covering relevant issues such as benefits, debt, employment, housing, use of bureau software and access to refresher and advanced training sessions. Need to have good interpersonal, computer IT and reporting skills.
