This volunteer role includes all aspects of care including stable, yard and field work, maintenance and rehabiltation work with the horses. No experience needed for non ridden work as full training given. Great opportunity to help loving animals in beautiful countryside, make new friends and gain skills.

Experience required

Ability to carry our physical work in all weathers, as well as following health and safety instruction. No experience needed for non-ridden work as full training given.

Travel details

Moray - there is no public transport so own transport required due to remote location.

Full on the job and theoretical training provided

Taster

Any evening for a couple of hours.

Restrictions

Minimum age: 16
Minimum 8 years old if accompanied, or 16 unaccompanied - safety of volunteer handling large unpredictable animals and farm equipment.

Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
