Fosterer Assistant

Help our cat fostering service by volunteering with the fosterer and branch coordinator to cover the times when fosterers are unavailable. Pens are based at fosterers premises so travel required. Volunteer by making sure the needs of the cats and kittens are being met -- feeding, socialising, taking care of their equipment and or environs...

Experience required

Experience of working with cats, ability to learn
Driver
Time keeping and reliability
Good verbal and interpersonal skills
Patience

Travel details

Various venues in Moray, depends on where volunteer is in relation to pens, will be discussed at interview. Would be advisable to be a car driver as some of the venues are not accessible by public transport

Training details

Full training and induction will be provided in the role, shadowing of volunteers and visits to various pens will be arranged
CP provide online training through the Volunteer Portal CatNav
Training sessions available in cat behaviour, care etc at regular intervals

Minimum age: 18
Cats Protection Insurance, lone working position
