Girlguiding Leaders and Support Personnel

Our volunteers do amazing things – working with girls, sleepovers, camps, adventurous activities, adventures at home and abroad.
And it’s not just about the girls – make new friends, share a skill, spend time laughing and playing.

There are so many roles available within Girlguiding.
Whether you are a new to our charity and choosing your first role or thinking about your progression as a volunteer - you'll find something to suit you. Use our role descriptions to plan what to do next or to show your team how they can develop their skills. Your journey through Girlguiding is up to you.

None - All skills and experiences can be used
You just need to have a willingness to join in with our units and support girls and young women in activities. This can be on a weekly basis but we can adapt to suit everyone’s needs or working patterns.
We also have support roles available - where adults can get involved and support leaders with administrative tasks. Or take on County Roles with specialities in Admin, PR, finance, event management or social media.
