No formal knowledge or experience in gardening is required, a willingness to learn and share is more important. The main task will be to maintain the Community Growing Space and plant and harvest vegetables. The produce from this Community Growing Space will be used in our cooking classes that are run from our Food Station. Experience required
An interest in gardening. - Basic DIY skills or willingness to learn. A good reliable team worker, enthusiastic, and able to engage with our clients. Keen interest in horticulture. In good health and physically active.
Travel details
We have two locations to choose from, you can help out at Harrison Place (EH11 1SF) or in Craigmillar (EH16 4DZ).

The training takes place 3 times a year and is not certified.

Minimum age: 16
Availability
Volunteers (aged 16-25) taking part in this opportunity are eligible to claim Saltire Awards hours for their activity.
