Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland
- VO68007
From lending a hand at a local group to weekly telephone calls, there are lots of ways to directly support people with our conditions. Whatever your skillset, wherever you are in Scotland, you can help us support people to live the life they want to lead, following the diagnosis of a chest or heart condition, stroke, or Long Covid.
No experience is needed to volunteer, as full training is provided. We deliver our community support services in person, virtually or via telephone, in communities across Scotland. Apply today and help us ensure no life is half lived.
Experience required
This is an opportunity to undertake a satisfying and rewarding role. We are looking for people with good listening and communication skills who are reliable, patient and empathetic, respectful of the opinions of others, able to maintain boundaries, and willing to commit to initial and ongoing training and development. A willingness to travel within the local area would also be beneficial, as would an understanding of the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
